This is Steve "Ajax" "Mothy" Jarvin. He is one of those people that stays active 365 days a year, sailing, skiing or cycling. In the winter months he is an instructor in Thredbo ski resort, then he sails, then when winter falls on the USA he is in Aspen. He is a real energizer battery. I know because occasionally I ski with him and he's 20 years older than me with double the output. Bell to bell, as many days as you can ski, he will be there.
He was included in our recent ski postcards silk, the very last entry to be included. He ended up asking for us to frame his silk scarf for his apartment in the mountains, and when we finished the the woven jacquard silk from the same design I cut him a bow tie on the house with his postcard in the top right.
I was very happy last night when he sent in this photo showcasing the both together. Off to some Alpine event, the season coming to a shorter end, but if anyone was able to find the last patches of snow, Steve, like squeezing the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube, he would have found them.
