I adore making new designs and playing with ideas, referencing art I love, merging things that have had an impact on me. And the reward comes in the form of cloth in your hand. This week we have taken delivery of new designs and more are coming over the course of September. We have also gone where we haven’t gone before, 140cm silk and cashmere blend squares. I am not sure I would ever use one myself, perhaps on my bed, maybe, but I just wanted to see our artworks coming to life in a different product. You may love them, maybe there are too much for you, maybe you find it a little too cheeky, no matter, eventually we will out something in front of you that will resonate, and we are open to hearing from you and your thoughts. But one thing will remain a thread, we will probably refrain from doing motifs and traditional designs and patterns, it’s not our bag, and we would prefer if you want that, to find those traditional houses still offering the same same. There’s nothing wrong with it, it works, sometimes a simple motif works beautifully for an ensemble, but our competitors do it well enough and I am not sure we could contribute in that realm with great significance.
