This is Justin Corgan, he is the bass guitarist for a band called the Allman Betts Band. I happened to listen to his music the other night and I really loved it, you should search for it on Spotify.
Justin recently began wearing our silk scarves (which we once called snow kerchiefs). He is doing a wonderful job of it, it’s so chic and there are just too few men who are gutsy enough to wear them.
The silk he is wearing is Odysseus Resists The Call Of The Sirens. It is about the wily Odysseus who was only the second person to safely navigate through the passage of the sirens in Greek mythology, the other being Jason and the Argonauts. For Odysseus, he wanted to hear the sirens call so he strapped himself to the mast so he wouldn’t dive into the sea and fall for their temptation. In Jason’s version they play the lyre to drown out the call of the sirens. Both crafty ways to not fall victim to the sirens.
