I have been surprised how quicky some of our customers have begun framing their silk scarves. Originally when we started framing them in the Studio we were using metal cables attached to design knobs mounted to the wall with magnets that affixed the scarf on each of the four points. It meant they were interchangeable so that when new scarves arrived we could switch them out.
These days our customers, myself included, are having them professionally pressed and mounted to a backing board recessed from a glass windowpane and framed in white. They make exquisite wall art, I believe this, and so do many of those who have begun to do the same.
It also makes for inexpensive art if truth be told. The scarf will set you back $655.00 AUD, and framing them can be as low as $300.00 AUD but I prefer our existing template which is more expensive at 600.00 AUD.
But I will leave it for you to decide, maybe it works for you? Maybe it's too much. But for me, brightens up the Studio, for my customers, mostly their living rooms and hallways.
