Suits For Pleasure - The Weekends Are When I Have Fun

Suits For Pleasure - The Weekends Are When I Have Fun

So really, when I don these suits and shirts and ties and bow ties and loafers and Oxfords and suspenders and pochettes and scarves, really, I am dressing for everyone I come into contact with as much as for myself, to offer you something to talk about and when the following day when you are ringing your friends for a debrief you might say "and what about that strange cat in the pink suit, what was his story". Well now you know.

New Portrait Submissions - Entries Close March 31 2025

Jamie Foxton submitted this fountain pen on paper sketch yesterday afternoon after I had to write a self-deprecating assessment of the competition so far where there had been one formal submission (and another one that I forgot about). The first was Linda Vinci from Baltimore USA, the second from Maryanne Stone in Sydney.

Can We Trust Legacy Media? I'm Not Sold

Can We Trust Legacy Media? I'm Not Sold

Don't get me wrong, it works to my advantage if it is true, well, put frankly, I would be happy to serve women, they are so much more liberal with their money when they are spending on themselves. When it comes to spending on our website for their men, not so much, in fact, they are the most excellent bargain hunters. It's enviable. I would like their skill set.

When It Is Too Hot, A Pocket Square Will Suffice

When It Is Too Hot, A Pocket Square Will Suffice

On Saturday night my lady was taking me out for dinner and I wanted to give my new spunky pink suit a twirl. I was overdressed but you know what, it's so nice to entertain other people and I love a compliment on clothes, beats one over a fancy watch to be honest. Don't discount tailoring my friends, good tailoring is universal across the broad populace, not just to those that follow luxury brands, it's for everyone to enjoy.

Pretty In Pink - Arrivals Just Keep Coming

Pretty In Pink - Arrivals Just Keep Coming

This week we took delivery of garza silks, mogador satin silks, 50 Oz silk twill, cashmere scarves and more. And next week more will be arriving again. We encourage you when you see silk that's arrived, this is the time to order bespoke work on +61413140994 - it's the time, for example, when we can guarantee you a cummerbund, or make a matching face mask or eye shades. After its out that first time, it gets stowed and it becomes piecemeal. That's also the reason we remind you to constantly check back with the website to see what else has arrived. For example, next week, navy cashmere caps of proper quality and distinction. So, stay close, it will be rewarding I promise. In the meantime, there's a couple of specials on the website this weekend.

All of them, we field them all. And it's very enjoyable for us because we get to see how you dress and we get to help you solve problems. So try us. +61413140994 by Whatsapp.

It's Been Spoken For

It's Been Spoken For

Did you know that the word bespoke comes from English tailors where the client would ask after a particular piece of cloth to which the tailor would respond that the 'cloth had been spoken for'. We often want what we can't have. I am sure this response would have been great for business.

A Very Handsome Proposition - A Hand-Tied Velvet Bow Tie

A Very Handsome Proposition - A Hand-Tied Velvet Bow Tie

A hand-tied velvet bow tie. It's not easy to make, you need to baste the fabric, you need to carefully guide the sewing machine, and then, once you are happy you managed to get the lines right, you need to carefully invert the bow tie without damaging the velvet. If you think that's easy, try to have a go yourself. In the end, creating a hand-tied bow tie is a work of love, but it's a very handsome proposition for evening wear, and we want you to have the best of what's available.
